The platform respects and protects the privacy of its users and their respective clients, in accordance with the guidelines of the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Law No. 13,709/2018) and other applicable international legislation, such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By using this platform, the professional user agrees to the terms of this policy and undertakes to use it ethically and legally, ensuring the proper consent of their own clients whenever necessary.

1. Who we are

This platform is offered as a SaaS (Software as a Service) system for managing clients, schedules, finances and reports, aimed at Health, Human Development and Wellness Professionals. It is maintained and operated by:

2. Definitions

• Professional User: a person who registers on the platform to use its management services.
• Professional's Client: a person registered by the Professional, who may or may not access a restricted area.
• Data Controller: the Professional is the controller of their own clients' data.
• Data Processor: MEWO acts as the data processor for clients registered by each professional.
• Personal Data: any data that can identify a person (name, email, phone number, etc.).
• Data Subject: the person to whom the personal data belongs.

3. Data collected

From the Professional upon registration:

• Full name;
• Profession;
• How they refer to their clients;
• Email and/or phone number;
• Password (encrypted);
• Service address;
• System preferences.

From clients registered by the professional:

• Name;
• Email and phone number;
• Financial balance;
• Session history;
• Information recorded in appointments or medical/session records;
• Contact preference.

Automatic records (cookies or logs):

• IP, browser type and device;
• Session and preference cookies;
• Code confirmation by email or SMS for account activation.

4. Purpose of data use

• Enable secure operation of the system;
• Perform management functions such as registration, scheduling, records and finances;
• Send reminders and notifications by email, WhatsApp (via Twilio) or SMS;
• Provide technical support, when requested;
• Make improvements to the system based on internal analysis;
• Comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

5. Data sharing

The platform does not share personal data with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

Sharing only occurs with services essential to operation, such as:

• Twilio (sending notifications via WhatsApp and SMS);
• Email services;
• Hosting and database providers (currently in Brazil).

6. Storage and security

• Data is stored on servers protected by encryption and authentication.
• Access is restricted to the professional and MEWO's technical team, only in support cases.
• Data may be migrated in the future to international providers offering protection equivalent to the LGPD.

7. Retention period

• Client data remains stored for as long as the professional wishes.
• Professionals' data is kept for as long as there is an active relationship with the platform.
• Backups and logs are kept for a limited time for security purposes.

8. Rights of data subjects

Every data subject may exercise their rights at any time:

• Confirmation of the existence of processing;
• Access to data;
• Correction of incomplete or outdated data;
• Deletion of data;
• Withdrawal of consent;
• Portability, when applicable.

9. Consent

By registering or using the platform, the professional declares that they are aware of and agree with the terms of this Policy. When registering a client, the professional is responsible for ensuring that valid and informed consent has been obtained.

10. International data transfer

The transfer of data to international servers may occur in the future, with contractual guarantees and protection standards equivalent to the LGPD.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated periodically. The most recent version will always be available on the platform. Notifications will be sent to registered professionals.
